The builders list is for extensions, loft conversions and refurbishment. A place on that list is not a statement that every one of those jobs is offered. Ask Curmi Construction Ltd what they will take on.
Where this record sits
The island is one list. Valletta, Sliema, St Julian’s, Birkirkara, Mosta and Gozo are service areas on that list, not separate cities.
Limestone townhouses, apartment blocks and flat roofs are common. Summer heat, sea air and winter rain decide a lot of the work.
How to read a price for this kind of work
Work in Malta is priced in euro. Ask what the written figure includes. A number on a card is not a quote from this site.
What to ask before you phone
When you phone Curmi Construction Ltd, use this record as the starting point: Luqa, Malta. Ask whether they will come to your address, then ask the questions that match the work.
Some external changes need a Planning Authority permit. Electrical work that falls under S.L. 545.24 has to be done under a REWS Authorisation A or B. A listing is a name and a phone number, not a permit.
An extension or a conversion is more than a day rate. Ask what the written package includes.
- Is this an extension, a conversion, or a refurbishment?
- What sits inside the written package, and what is left out?
- Who deals with a Planning Authority permit if the outside changes?
- Will you visit before you put a price in writing?
