Where this record sits
Manchester on this site includes Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Oldham, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Wigan and Tameside. Warrington, Preston and Macclesfield are not on this list.
Brick terraces and later suburbs run across the city and those neighbouring towns. Check the town on the address before you assume the firm is in the centre.
Qualifications on the record
NAPIT is a competent-person scheme for electrical work. The name is on this page because it is on the record.
TrustMark is a government-endorsed scheme for home trades. The name is on this page because it is on the record.
Local Trades UK does not award these schemes and does not guarantee the work. Each name above opens that scheme's own search. This site does not run the search and does not pass the job on.
How to read a price for this kind of work
An electrical price should say whether the test and the certificate are included, and whether remedial work is extra. This site does not price the job.
What to ask before you phone
When you phone Tosons Electrical Services, use this record as the starting point: 1 Ashdale Crescent, Droylsden, M43 6PN. Ask whether they will visit your postcode, then ask the questions that match the work.
Say whether you need a rewire, a consumer unit change or an EICR, and ask what test record you will be left with.
Notifiable electrical work in a home sits under Part P of the Building Regulations. A listing is a name and a phone number, not a building-control notice.
- Is the job a repair, a consumer-unit change, a rewire, or an EICR?
- What test record will you leave, and is that record included?
- If a test finds faults, is the remedial work extra?
- Will the person who attends be the person who signs the certificate?
